About us
Young’s Photobooth is a small family business built for real celebrations — laughter, props, and photos worth keeping.
It started with a clever idea from my wife, Kaitlyn: she wanted a way to take photos at our wedding. In 2016, the options were slim — so I decided to build our own photobooth. I’m an IT guy. I knew I could make a working booth with the software available then.
The first setup was simple: laptop, webcam, printer, screen, and one special piece — a big “Click Here” button to start the capture. I tore apart a keyboard, found the contacts that simulated a space bar, and wired them to that button. Guests pressed the button; the booth thought someone had hit the space bar. The printer spit out a sheet you had to cut by hand into two strips — and my cousin Bobby handled that job at our wedding.
Then guests kept asking: Can you rent this for our wedding? That question turned a wedding project into a business. We built a better, more automated booth — a printer that cut the strips for guests, a touchscreen instead of a physical button, a DSLR, a new laptop, and more. Ron, our woodworker, was awesome from that first booth through the upgraded automated one. Together we designed something that folded so it could ride in a car with ease.
Today that path leads to our DIY Photobooth Kit: a fully automated unit you assemble in about ten minutes, rent for a full day, and run yourself. It gives us more flexibility on the calendar — and you a convenient booth without needing us on site. It’s a digital experience now, with printing capabilities coming soon.
Our logo
Bekah was so generous and patient to handpaint the logo on both of our photobooths. Her creativity in the way the camera was created was perfect — every detail of that lens mark is hers, brushed onto the booths by hand.
When you see our logo at an event, you’re seeing that same handcrafted mark: not a sticker, but art made for Young’s Photobooth with patience and heart.

Attended means we run the booth on site (Wedding or Custom hours). The DIY Photobooth Kit ships a ready-to-go iPad booth for one event day in Pennsylvania — you set it up and pack the return.
$450 for one event day, with Pennsylvania shipping included. After we approve your date, you pay by card (Stripe). Your card can also be charged later for documented damage or late return, up to $1,500 if the full kit is lost.
Not right now — DIY is Pennsylvania ship-to addresses only. Attended bookings can still be discussed for nearby events.
A $300 non-refundable down payment after we approve your request. Remaining balance is due before the event. Transportation may be a separate fee once we review your address.
As soon as your date is firm. Submit the booking form for an attended package and we’ll confirm availability.
